Children’s Toys

Here are examples of toys I make for children. I use pine and hardwoods for inside toys and pine, cedar, and treated wood for outside toys. I sand the wood smooth and eliminate sharp edges and splinters. I finish the wood either with paint or stain and protect with a clear water based varnish.

 

Furniture

I make furniture for adults and children. I use maple, oak, cherry, and walnut woods. The pieces are sanded and stained then finished with tung oil, paste wax, or danish oil. Here are just a few examples of my work.

 

Clocks & Weather Stations

I really enjoy making clocks and weather stations. Some are very elaborate and some are more simple. Contact me for special requests, including features and materials.

 

Pens

Making pens is a enjoyable pastime. There are a multitude of different wood from all around the world available for purchased and turned on a wood lathe that are quite beautiful when finished and matched with a pen kit as can be seen.

 

Bird and Butterfly Houses

Here are several examples of my bird and butterfly houses. 
Some of the whacky designs remind people of something from Dr. Seuss.
